Apr/19 Club opening around the corner


A big thank you to all members who renewed their club membership during the early-bird event! The registration is now open at regular membership rates.

 

The club AGM elected a new president and validated the volunteer board. For details, see the About page.

 

Although the nets are up, the club is not yet open for the new season and the court booking system is offline. Check the club website for details later in April. See also the latest club newsletter for more information. And many thanks to all the volunteers who showed up on April 7 and helped with the net and windscreen installation!

 

Useful dates:

  • Installation of new keypad on the gate to the courts: April 25.
  • Club opening for the new season: tentatively May 1. Exact date to be determined. We need to get the green light from the City of Ottawa to officially open the club.
  • Monday social start: tentatively early May. Exact date to be determined.
  • Ladder start: May 22.

 

Membership

The Craig Henry Tennis Club is located in the Craig Henry Park and has 8 hard courts. The club is generally open from mid-May to the end of September and beyond, for as long as weather permits.
